Our Masjid Project
Our Location
Nestled along the shores of Lake Erie in Ohio, Conneaut is a small town within Ashtabula county with a growing number of Muslim families—but until now, no house of Allah to call their own. The nearest masjids is over an hour away, leaving local Muslims without a place to gather for prayer, community, or learning and having to travel over an hour to some of the closest masjids for Jumuah. That is why we are taking a historic step: to build the first-ever masjid — a permanent beacon of guidance and unity for generations to come.
Our Mission
Every great community begins with a masjid. Just as the Prophet ﷺ first built the Masjid of Quba and then Masjid al-Nabawi, we too begin by laying a foundation for faith. By supporting this effort, you are not just helping to build walls—you are building a legacy, reviving a Sunnah, and earning the reward of a house in Paradise, as promised by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Though our community is still small, Conneaut is the perfect place for planting the seeds of Islamic growth. Situated halfway between Erie and Cleveland, it is both affordable and accessible—a quiet town with clean air, low crime, strong schools, and family-friendly values. For Muslim families seeking a safe and welcoming place to raise their children, Conneaut offers something rare: the close-knit warmth of small-town life, where neighbors know each other, children play freely, and a new community can grow—together.
Our Future
This masjid will be more than a building—it will be a home for faith, learning, and togetherness. And with your help, it can become a reality, inshaa' Allah.
